Rock-Solid Tracking

3D Matchmove & Tracking

Tracking is invisible when it works. Painfully visible when it doesn't.

The Work

Tracking that holds, every frame.

Camera data, point clouds, scene geometry. Tracks accurate down to a fraction of a pixel, every frame, delivered in your pipeline format. The foundation your CG team needs to skip the do-overs.

01

2D Tracking

Stabilization, point tracking, planar tracking, and 2D element placement. The foundation for clean compositing.

2D Tracking 1
02

3D Camera Tracking

Recreating the camera's movement in 3D space so CG elements sit perfectly in the scene. Includes set survey matching, lens distortion handling, and full 3D scene reconstruction.

3D Camera Track 1
03

3D Object Tracking

Tracking elements that move independently of the camera, so CG can sit on or interact with them. Covers props, vehicles, hero objects, and hand-held subjects across the shot.

04

Rotomation

Matching 3D geometry to an actor's performance. Used when CG elements need to interact with or occlude live-action characters. Covers body tracking, face tracking, and CG-to-live-action interaction.

How a project moves through us

A predictable path from brief to delivery.

01

Share Your Plates

Send us your footage with any set data you have (survey, lidar, lens info). We assess tracking difficulty within 24 hours.

02

Tracking + Solve

We track and solve your shots, delivering camera data, point clouds, and scene geometry.

03

Fit Test

We verify the track against your CG elements or provide a test render to confirm accuracy.

04

Delivery + Support

Clean tracking data in your format. We support your team through the full process.

What You Need to Provide

  • Source footage (highest quality available)
  • Lens data (focal length, sensor size, distortion)
  • Set measurements or survey data (if available)
  • Lidar scans (if available)
  • Reference images of the set/location
  • Info about CG elements to be added

Turnaround

We typically deliver camera tracks within 1-3 business days per shot. Complex scenes with multiple subjects may take longer. Rush delivery available for urgent shots.

Where This Fits In Your Pipeline

Matchmove sits early in the chain. Roto and cleanup run parallel beside it. Once locked, the track feeds 3D CGI for asset placement and compositing for set extension. Brief the chain together and we sequence the handoffs so the track is ready when downstream needs it.

Why Choose Us

NDA-Ready, TPN Certified

TPN-certified pipeline. NDAs signed when your project requires them. Built for major-studio security baselines.

Triple QC Process

Three rounds of internal checks before anything reaches your inbox. We catch issues so you never have to.

Pipeline Adaptive

Your tools, your specs, your naming. We work in your pipeline, not ours.

Scale On Demand

10 shots or 1,000, we ramp up the team without dropping the quality bar.

First-Pass Discipline

Process designed to clear review on the first pass. Fewer notes, shorter cycles, less back-and-forth.

Stabilization Verified

Tracks so solid they hold under the stabilization test. If the plate locks, the track locks.

What Our Clients Say

Frequently Asked Questions

What tracking software do you use?
We use industry-standard tracking tools matched to each shot's needs and your pipeline. We adapt to your tools, not the other way around.
What data do you deliver?
Camera animation curves, 3D point clouds, scene geometry, lens distortion data, and ground plane reference. All delivered to the spec sheet on your project — naming convention, axis orientation, units, and frame ranges all matched to your pipeline before delivery.
Can you handle shots with lens distortion?
Yes. We analyze and solve for lens distortion on every track. We provide both undistorted plates and distortion data for your pipeline.
What about body and face tracking?
Object tracking, body tracking, and facial performance reconstruction. The right approach depends on what was shot — marker-based capture if witness markers were placed on set, markerless reconstruction if they weren't. The two are different cost and accuracy tiers, so we flag the difference at bid time. The budget reflects the approach the plate actually requires, not the one we'd prefer.
How do you verify tracking accuracy?
We render test geometry over the plate and check the full frame range, including the handle ends where tracks fail most often. We're checking for the three things that go wrong: the track wandering off the plate, the track losing a few frames of sync, and foreground and background not holding their depth relationship. If your CG elements are ready, we test the fit directly.
